About me
Rachael is a Senior Occupational Therapist at Children’s Specialized Hospital, an RWJBarnabas Health outpatient care facility in New Jersey. She graduated Ithaca College with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Science, Minor in Recreation, and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Previous roles have included providing OT to children through early intervention, schools, and outpatient programs. Across all roles and environments, one thing remains the same- play is the primary occupation of children. Rachael firmly believes that through play, children learn and connect with others best. She is passionate about teaching families how to play and connect with their children with differing abilities and bring adaptive play opportunities to children of all abilities.
