Jay West is the Senior Director, Chemical Products and Technology at the American Chemistry Counsel or ACC in Washington, D.C. Among his current duties is serving as the Executive Director of ACC’s Performance Fluoropolymer Partnership, a specialty trade association that works at the state, national, and international levels to educate policy makers on the value of fluoropolymers and protect their availability in the future. The Partnership’s members include companies who are global leaders and innovators in fluoropolymer manufacturing, processing, and use. Jay also serves as the head of the industry delegation to the chemicals work at the 38-country Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. There, he coordinates industry input on a broad spectrum of chemical testing, assessment, and management activities. Jay has a Master of Forest Science Degree from the Yale School of the Environment and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
