About me
David Kosnoff is Vice President of Product Safety and Consumer Protection Compliance for Walmart, the world’s largest retailer. His responsibilities include leading teams responsible for Product Safety, Health & Wellness Product Safety, Consumer Protection, and WIC/SNAP Compliance within the US Ethics and Compliance organization.
David has been focused on product safety, compliance and quality for the last 18 years, with Walmart, Hasbro, Amazon, and Mattel. He is also a board member, and treasurer of the International Consumer Product Health & Safety Organization, a non-profit organization comprised of industry, lawyers, regulators, consumers, and consumer advocates, all dedicated to expanding product safety across the globe. David has led both US and global teams, twice based in Hong Kong. He has been a frequent instructor for the Society of Product Safety Professionals and their Certified Product Safety Professional program. Prior to his focus on product safety, David led teams in manufacturing operations, supply chain, procurement, product development, demand planning, and EH&S organizations in fields including toys, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment.
David earned an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Indianapolis.
