About me
Danni Cugini is the Senior Manager of Product Compliance for Harbor Freight Tools, where she oversees product safety and regulatory chemical compliance for a wide range of consumer products. A product safety and compliance professional for over 10 years, Danni was with Barnes & Noble/NOOK before Harbor Freight Tools, specializing in consumer product safety for hardline products and environmental compliance for digital products there. Danni also serves as a current member of the ICPHSO Board of Directors.
Prior to her career in product safety and compliance, Danni held positions in the legal, retail, tourism, and entertainment industries. One of the things she enjoys about her present career is how it allows her to draw from and utilize her skills and experiences from those varied fields (and that no two days are the same).
Danni holds an MS in Research, Administration & Compliance (with a concentration in compliance program leadership), and a BA in Communications, both from the City University of New York’s School of Professional Studies. Originally from New York, she currently resides in California; where she also volunteers as a member of the Advisory Council for the BumbleBee Foundation, a local SoCal organization that supports families impacted by pediatric cancer. Her other interests include hiking, painting, cooking, and traveling.
