About me
Alejandra Barceló is a specialist in political risk, international affairs, and public policy. Currently leading Google's AI policy portfolio for Platforms and Devices (including Chrome, Android, Play, and Pixel). Her career spans the private sector and international organizations, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where she oversaw the threat assessment and emergency response of the IMF’s overseas security operations. At Frontier Strategy Group Alejandra provided expert counsel to multinational enterprises for managing risks in emerging markets. At the Organization of American States (OAS) she spearheaded analysis and advisory on governability threats and peace in Latin America. Alejandra holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
