Susan works across RILA’s many regulatory and compliance areas, including consumer products safety, and plays a key role in RILA’s advocacy and engagement with stakeholders and regulators at the federal and state levels. Before joining RILA in 2020, she served as a Government Affairs advisor at Bergeson & Campbell, PC, where she provided regulatory and technical expertise to clients and trade associations in the agriculture and commodity grower communities, as well as major chemical manufacturers. Early in her career, Susan worked for the Association of Clean Water Administrators, where she helped stand up and manage peer communities of state environmental regulators. She holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) and a J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate from Pace University.
