James is a partner in the Product Regulatory & Liability team at Mason Hayes & Curran LLP in Dublin, Ireland. He specialises in the regulation of consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and food in the EU. James is qualified to practice law in both the EU and UK and has extensive experience working with clients on market access and product launch strategies, marketing and advertising rules, labelling and packaging requirements, supply chain management, responding to regulatory investigations, product recalls and defending product liability claims. He also has considerable experience providing due diligence regulatory support on major corporate transactions in the food, medical devices and pharmaceutical sectors. James also regularly speaks on EU product safety and product liability issues at European and US conferences and is an editor of Mason Hayes & Curran’s bi-annual Digital Health and Product & Consumer Protection Reviews.
